Right. So this is day 3. Hmmh.. Today’s post is gonna be about a song that makes me happy. There are a lot of songs that make my day right. Songs we may call “feel-good-songs.” As the phrase implies, they are songs that make us feel good.
I’ve been a music buff since I was small (and still am — small ) and I used to think that I know a lot of songs compared with the others I know. But since Starlight came singing with me, I’ve been opened up into a bigger world of music. I learned more other songs that I haven’t heard of before and I am now so into them.
One of the artists he introduced to me was Architecture in Helsinki. Their music is so pleasant that when you listen to them, grey gloomy skies will turn blue, fresh, and bright. It would seem like the sun is shining brightly… the cool breeze brushing your face and taking your hair in its direction… birds freely flying above your heads and singing so sweetly and cheerfully… wow.
It’s so pleasant that if you listen to it first thing in the morning, you’ll feel like you’re gonna end your day smiling still.
So here it is. Let me share with you the song (or one of the songs) that makes me happy.
Day 3: A Song That Makes You Happy — The Owls Go (Architecture in Helsinki)
“Attic in a basement with a knife serrated, I’ll protect you (2x)
Don’t hide the pleasures you’ve found in your rolling around
Where all the leaves have been swept and the flowers grow
And don’t go finding a replacement,
I promise I’ll show you heart, heart, heart, heart”
